I purchased this for the price & the fact it said single pole but this was not the switch I needed. It requires 3 wires & I only had 2 in the box. I'll use it in a 3way application somewhere else. I ended up purchasing the ODS10-ID which was a little more expensive but it is a true single pole switch. Besides that they pretty much work the same & I'm pleased with the one I have. They have a sleek / hi-tech look, I love it.

Used in a 3-way switching application. Works well. Unfortunately, the device only works in one wiring configuration in a 3-way application which left my sensor in a less than optimum spot. The directions are OK, not great.

The switch works exactly as advertised. Once wired in it will detect motion almost a full 180 degrees around (probably closer to 170). It also has adjustments to narrow its field of view on either side independently and its sensitivity. You can set it to 15sec (for testing), 5, 15, or 30 minute on times. Installation couldn't have been easier and it's even compatible with 3 way switches (multiple switches for one light).
Two things lost this one star. First, you have to have the switch on. If you manually turn it off you have to manually turn it on again for it to work. Second, the instructions included were in spanish only. I'm guessing this was just a screw up when the one I got was packaged but it's sad when something bought in the USA doesn't even have english instructions in it.
